Read More	Alfred Martin McGaha December 27, 1940 - June 21, 2021 Alfred Martin McGaha, 80, of 123 Stacy Drive, Gaffney, S.C. went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 21, 2021 at his residence. Born in Spartanburg, S.C. he was the husband of Juanita Carter McGaha and son of the late John H. McGaha and Estelle Kirby McGaha. He was a graduate of Wofford College, Furman University and Winthrop College and retired from the Cherokee School District as an elementary school principal. He was a retired real estate agent working with Buice Realty in Gaffney, a member of the Gaffney Sertoma Club and the Gaffney Rotary Club. He volunteered with PeachCenter Ministries and Cherokee County Literacy and was a member of West End Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to his wife is a son, Kevin McGaha (Lisa) of Gaffney; a daughter, Kimberly McGaha of Roebuck, S.C.; a granddaughter, Holly McGaha of Gaffney. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Ray McGaha, Harry McGaha, Bob McGaha and John McGaha and a sister, Virginia Owens. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 25, 2021 at Blakely Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Keith Harrill and Reverend Rodney Cook officiating. Interment will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Spartanburg Regional Hospice, P.O. Box 2624, Spartanburg, S.C. 29304. The family will be at the residence, 123 Stacy Drive, Gaffney, S.C. 29341.
