Read More	Alfred's obituary helps provide a brief glimpse into his life. "Alfred M. Mullins Sr. 1928 - 2006 Alfred Melvin Mullins Sr., of Otterville, died Sunday Nov. 26, 2006, at his home. He was born Feb. 29, 1928, near Otterville, a son of Arthur Vernon and Anna Elizabeth Fisher Mullins. On Aug. 20, 1954, in Boonville, he was married to Bonnie Fay Allee, who survives of the home. Mrs. Mullins worked for Bell Telephone Co., and LPH Co. He started working for Co-Mo Electric in Tipton in 1966. He retired in 1990. He served in the Army from 1951 to 1954, and was stationed in Germany. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, while working for Co-Mo Electric. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved baseball. Also surviving are four sons, A. Melvin Mullins Jr., and his wife, Mary of Sedalia, Randy E. Mullins, and his wife, Debbie, of Tipton, Jerry D. Mullins, and his wife, Waynette, of Otterville, and Barry A. Mullins, and his wife, Roselinda, of Syracuse; a daughter, Brenda F. Dunn, and her husband, Danny, of Otterville; a brother, Arthur E. Mullins, of Kansas City, Kan.; 12 grandchildren: Ryan, Cody, Dustin, Austin, Justin, Jackson, A.V., Jenifer, Courtney, Emily, Kayla and Nika; a great-grandson; five step-grandchildren; and five step-great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by three brothers, Ronnie Cleo Mullins, William C. Mullins and Cecil G. Mullins; and two sisters, Evelyn O'Brien and Catherine E. Hardey Roesler. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church in Otterville, with the Rev. Doug Shivers, the Rev. Jeff Allee and the Rev. Ron Marsh officiating. Pallbearers will be Jerry Mullins, Justin Mullins, Ryan Mullins, A.V. Mullins, Cody Mullins, Austin Mullins, Jackson Mullins and Toby Hardey. Honorary pallbearers will be Bob Hardey, Frank O'Brien, Gary Mullins, Eddie Mullins, Glen Allee, David Baker and Dustin Mullins. Burial will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery in Syracuse. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Meisenheimer Funeral Home in Otterville. The family suggests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society."
