Graveside services, directed by Graham Funeral Home, will be held on Sunday, February 25, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. in Elmwood Cemetery. Officiating will be the Rev. Phillip C. Thrailkill. Mr. Seitter was born on August 9, 1916 in Wilmington, NC a son of the late Charles F. Seitter and Wilhemina Burrer Seitter. Read More	SEITTER, SR., Alfred GEORGETOWN - Alfred Paul Seitter, Sr., 90, died Thursday, February 22, 2007 at Prince George Healthcare Center. Graveside services, directed by Graham Funeral Home, will be held on Sunday, February 25, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. in Elmwood Cemetery. Officiating will be the Rev. Phillip C. Thrailkill. Mr. Seitter was born on August 9, 1916 in Wilmington, NC a son of the late Charles F. Seitter and Wilhemina Burrer Seitter. Mr. Seitter grew up in Wilmington, NC, graduating from New Hanover School in 1933. He was in business with his father, farming in Georgetown, SC. They farmed the Woods farm, which is now Maryville. He then began to farm Rural Hall Plantation which he purchased in 1947 and continued to farm while in business with his brother in wholesale produce. He later became Supervisor for Georgetown County roads and bridges, which he retired from in 1981. Mr. Seitter was a member of Duncan Memorial Methodist Church. He had been a member of the Georgetown Lions Club and the Moose Lodge. He loved to hunt and hosted many dove hunts on Rural Hall Plantation. His hobby was growing sup-anon grapes, which he shared with many friends. Mr. Seitter was predeceased by his wife Margaret Carolyn Pope Seitter. Surviving are: one son Alfred Paul Seitter, Jr. and his wife Linda of Youngsville, NC; one daughter Mary Beth Brawley of Georgetown, SC and Charlotte, NC; a sister, Hilda Seitter Buck of Wilmington, NC; two brothers, Eugene Jacob Seitter, and Richard Henry Seitter, both of Georgetown; and three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. The family would like to thank Joyce and Kenneth Matthews, Reba McCants, their physicians and the staff of Georgetown Memorial Hospital for the care they gave him and his wife. Also, thanks to the staff of George's, Ball and Que and Jackie's Lafayette restaurants for making sure Mr. A got his morning and afternoon coffee. Memorials can be made to Duncan Memorial Methodist Church, 901 Highmarket St., Georgetown, SC 29440.
