Born in Wayne County May 8, 11891, he was the son of Augustus and Susan DeVore Green. He married Gladys Ely Sept. 1, 1915. He had lived on a farm near Confidence for 25 years and lived in Centerville for 18 years. He was a member of the Confidence Christian Church. Born in Wayne County May 8, 11891, he was the son of Augustus and Susan DeVore Green. He married Gladys Ely Sept. 1, 1915. He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Kenneth, who died May 15, 1939. Funeral services will be at the Miller-Wehrie Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Orval Walter officiating. Burial will be in the Brushy Cemetery.
