Description	:	ACKLEY-Alice Reisinger, 80, formerly of Eldora, died Friday, June 28, 2000, at the Ellsworth Municipal Hospital in Iowa Falls. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, June 28, at 2 p.m. at Eastlawn Memory Garden in Eldora. Rev. Michael Dack of St. John's United Church of Christ in Ackley will officiate. Alice was born Oct. 4, 1919, in Holland, the daughter of Dick and Minnie Johnson Brower. Alice was born Oct. 4, 1919, in Holland, the daughter of Dick and Minnie Johnson Brower. She graduated from Grundy Center High School and from Drake University with a degree in elementary and special education. She taught in the Grundy Center and the Eldora school systems for 33 years. In June 1940, she married Dale Reisinger in Eldora. In 1993 she moved to Ackley living the past six months with her daughter and family in rural Ackley. She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Ackley and a past member of the Congregational United Church of Christ in Eldora. She is survived by a son, Richard "Dick" Reisinger and his wife, Connie, of Eldora; a daughter, Lynn Brandt and husband, LeRoy, of Ackley; a sister, Berdean Graham and husband, William, of Cedar Falls; three sisters-in-law, Verdena Brower of Holland, VerJean Brower of Allen, Texas, and Catherine Lettow of Iowa Falls; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandsons. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dale; a son, Dean; a sister, Esther Aswegan; and brothers, Cal, Carl and Ed Brower.
