Daughter of the late George and Minnie Weilage Neemeyer, she was born Oct. 23, 1906 at Kramer, Neb., Lancaster County, where she was baptized and confirmed and attended parochial school. She was married to Arthur Brakenhoff on Oct. 8, 1936 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Columbus. They resided north of Columbus until retiring to town in 1963, and she was employed by Dale Electronics from 1961-69. Currently a member of Immanuel Church, she was a former member of the St. John Church and Ladies Aid. Surviving are her husband; two sons, Marvin and Duane; three grandchildren; a brother, Harold Neemeyer; two sisters, Mrs. Herman (Elsie) Brakenhoff and Mrs. Herman (Dorothy) Hespe, all of Columbus. Memorials may be directed to Immanuel Church or American Cancer Society. The Columbus Telegram, March __, 1970 BRAKENHOFF--Final Rites - Services for Mrs. Arthur Brakenhoff, 63, who died Friday, were conducted by Rev. B.F. Meschke at Immanuel Lutheran Church Monday afternoon. Pallbearers were Gottlieb Wilke, Ervin Neemeyer, Victor Mueller, Raymond Weilage, Martin and Carl Hellbusch.
