Bovee, 96, a lifetime resident if the Craig-Tekamah area. She died July 28 at Blair Memorial Community Hospital. She was born to James Kinison and Sarah Etta Ranklin Hancock of rural Tekamah on January 10, 1889. She married Walter Bovee of Craig January 31, 1912. Until 1952 the family farmed in the Craig area. Bovee, 96, a lifetime resident if the Craig-Tekamah area. She died July 28 at Blair Memorial Community Hospital. She was born to James Kinison and Sarah Etta Ranklin Hancock of rural Tekamah on January 10, 1889. She married Walter Bovee of Craig January 31, 1912. Until 1952 the family farmed in the Craig area. She was an active member of the Craig Presbyterian Church and the Craig Order of the Eastern Star No. 157, where she was Past Matron. After moving to Tekamah in 1954 she joined the First Presbyterian Church and the Tekamah Order the Eastern Star No. 131, of which she was the oldest member at the time of her death. She is survived by her daughter Adelaide, and one brother Roy Hancock, both of Tekamah, and one sister, Irene Zerkel of Anderson, Indiana. Rev. Melva Tranmer officiated at the service. Rick Nelsen was the vocalist. Mrs. Larry Jackson provided the organ music. Pallbearers were James Hancock, Dick Hancock, Charles J. Petersen, Rusty Hancock, Tom Anderson, and Robert Loewe. Burial was at Tekamah Cemetery. ----
