Her older brother, Raymond was a year old when Alice was born. Her brother Archie was born on November 7, 1923, in Scotland County, North Carolina, when Alice was 3 years old. Her sister Ollie was born on July 15, 1926, in South Carolina when Alice was 5 years old. Her youngest sister, Rochelle, was born in 1930 in South Carolina when Alice Eula was 10 years old. On the US 1930 US Census, Alice was living with her parents and siblings on Saw Dirt Street, in Bennettsville, Marlboro County, South Carolina. She was 9 years old. Eighteen year old Alice Leviner had married 21 year old Joseph Thomas (JT) Frazier sometime in 1938 or 1939. In March of 1939, she had given birth to their first son Ernest Frazier, who was stillborn. By the time the 1940 US Census was taken, 18 year old Alice and her husband, 21 year old JT are living on Marshall Road in a rented home in Bennettsville, Marlboro County, South Carolina. This record also show that the highest level of education that Alice completed was the fourth grade, elementary school. JT's occupation is listed as a wage or salary worker in Government work. His income shows $260.00 with no income for any other sources. Alice does not show that she is working at this time. Most women during this time period are house wives and stay at home mothers. Alice and JT's second child, Leonard Weldon was born on July 17, 1940 in Bennettsville, South Carolina. Third child, Thomas Lee (Tommy) Frazier was born on November 15, 1942 in Bennettsville, South Carolina. Their fourth child, a daughter, Mary Alice was born on August 20, 1945 and their youngest child, Billy Darrell was born on August 21, 1947, both born in Bennettsville, Marlboro County, South Carolina, USA. Alice Eula Leviner Frazier died of a heart attack on November 20, 1990, at the age of 70, in Bennettsville, South Carolina. She was interred at Sunset Memorial Park also in Bennettsville. OBITUARY Alice Eula Leviner Frazier was the daughter of Rory Lee Leviner and Minnie McLeod Leviner. She was a homemaker and a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church in Bennettsville,South Carolina. She was born in Marlboro County on October 13, 1920. She died on Tuesday, November 20, 1990 after a brief illness (heart attack). Her funeral services were held on a Friday, November 23, 1990, at 3pm at the First Pentecostal Holiness Church with burial in Sunset Memorial Park. Directed by Whitner- Evans Funeral Home. The family received friends at the home of Alice and JT Frazier at 4 Patton Street in Firestone Village in Bennettsville,South Carolina. She is the wife of JT (Joseph Thomas) Frazier of Bennettsville,SC. They have three sons, Leonard Weldon Frazier, Tommy (Thomas) Lee Frazier and Billy Darrell Frazier, and one daughter, Mary Alice Frazier Herndon. All reside in Bennettsville,South Carolina. One stillborn son, Ernest Frazier, was born in March of 1945. She had two sisters, Ollie Jones and Lettie Mae Freeman, both of Bennettsville,South Carolina. She had two brothers, Archie Leviner and Raymond Leviner who also reside in Bennettsville,South Carolina. At the time of her death, Alice had 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
