Description	:	OBITUARY - LOW ALICE FERN LITCHFIELD LOW, beloved wife of the late Solon Earl Low, passed away peacefully in Raymond on Sunday, September 22, 1996 after a lengthy illness. Born in Raymond in October, 25, 1910, Alice attended school there and Normal School in Calgary. She married Solon Low in 1932 and lived in Stirling, Edmonton, Cardston, Ottawa and Raymond with him. After the death of her husband in 1962, she taught school in Warner and Raymond until her retirement in 1975. Born in Raymond in October, 25, 1910, Alice attended school there and Normal School in Calgary. She married Solon Low in 1932 and lived in Stirling, Edmonton, Cardston, Ottawa and Raymond with him. After the death of her husband in 1962, she taught school in Warner and Raymond until her retirement in 1975. She enjoyed literature and will be especially remembered for the numerous quilts she designed and created. Alice was instrumental in helping establish the Raymond Historical Museum as well as volunteering many hours in assisting church and community activities. She is survived by sisters: Mildren (Lyman) Hardy of Stirling, Marjorie (Melvin) Mulholland of Claresholm, Berice Lyman of Midvale, Utah and Lorraine (Cal) Raisor of Brigham City, Utah, amd brothers: Bert of Salt Lake City, and Grant (Grace) of Calgary. She was predeceased by her parents, Floyd and Ethel Litchfield, her husband Solon Low, a daughter, Sharon Williams, and her sisters: Iona (Lyle) Piepgrass and Elma (Ned) Woodruff. Her memory will be cherished by her family, Lorna Western of Salt Lake City, Jessie (Marion) Swain of Pleasant Grove, Utah, LeRon (Jeanne) of Coaldale, Carol (Gordon L.)Liberty of Ottawa, Morton David (Barbara) on Houston, Texas, Kenneth (Janice) of Calgary, Eric of Lethbridge and 25 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held in the Raymond Stake Centre of Friday, September 27, 1996 at 12:00 noon. Internment in the Cardston Cemetery, Cardston, AB.
