Frank Armstrong will officiate with burial in Pilger City Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m., Friday at Home for Funerals in Norfolk. She graduated from Pilger High School in 1925, then graduated from Wayne State Teacher's College. On March 23, 1929, she married Ervin Nelson in Norfolk. They farmed in the Wisner and Pilger areas before moving into Norfolk in 1944 where her husband was involved in home construction. Mrs. Nelson has been a member of the First Baptist Church since 1946. Survivors include one son and his wife, Lowell and Sandra of Las Vegas; one daughter and her husband, Eva and Lloyd Rohde of Pierce; one brother, Wallace Cary of Texas; one sister, Margaret Luedders of Monrovia, California; 11 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1979, one son, one daughter-in-law, six brothers and three sisters
