Description	:	Alice Wright OMAHA -- Alice M. "Midgie" Wright, formerly of Greenwood, passed away on June 17, 2009 at the age of 86 years. Wright was born on Aug. 11, 1922 in Greenwood to Harry and Margaret Krowley Leesley. She grew up in Greenwood attending grade school and later graduating from Greenwood High School. She was united in marriage to Wayne Wright on July 17, 1942 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Davey. They made their home in Greenwood for many years until moving to Lincoln in the 1980s. Wright was born on Aug. 11, 1922 in Greenwood to Harry and Margaret Krowley Leesley. She grew up in Greenwood attending grade school and later graduating from Greenwood High School. She was united in marriage to Wayne Wright on July 17, 1942 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Davey. They made their home in Greenwood for many years until moving to Lincoln in the 1980s. Wright worked for 28 years as a parcel post clerk at Cushman Motors in Lincoln. She moved to Brookstone Senior Living in Omaha in 2004 and during the last year had lived at St. Joseph Villa in Omaha. She was a former parishioner and organist at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lincoln. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Joyce Wright and daughter, Mary Moller, all of Omaha; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne; daughter, Sandra Gutschenritter; parents and all her sisters and brothers. Mass of Christian Burial is Saturday, June 20, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church in Ashland. Interment at Greenwood Memorial Cemetery. Visitation is Friday, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. at Marcy Chapel. Memorials to the Alzheimer`s Association or St. Joseph Villa. Arrangements by Marcy Mortuary, Ashland.
