Description	:	Alice N Bramer, widow of the late Rev T S Stryker, was born in Orange County, New York September 18, 1849. (This date is not correct. In the 1850 census which was taken on Oct 15, 1850 she was not listed with the family) and departed this life to her home in heaven on March 8, 1933. She was married to Rev Thomas S Stryker and to this union were born three children; Mary and Dale, who died when quite young, and Manford Stryker. (This date is not correct. In the 1850 census which was taken on Oct 15, 1850 she was not listed with the family) and departed this life to her home in heaven on March 8, 1933. She was married to Rev Thomas S Stryker and to this union were born three children; Mary and Dale, who died when quite young, and Manford Stryker. Mrs Stryker was a faithful and devoted co-worker with her husband in the ministry of the Methodist Protestant Church where they together gave their best years to the upbuilding of Christian communities in the various charges which they served. Most of her life was spent in Iowa. About 36 years ago Mrs Stryker was bereft of her husband and about 20 years ago she came to Brooklyn. She united with the Brooklyn Methodist Episcopal Church and remained faithful and loyal to her Master whom she served so long and so well in a long and useful life. The last seven years Mrs Stryker made her home with her sister, Mary Dunton, who kindly ministered to her in her long illness. She has gone to her crowning & the world is richer for her life. Funeral services from the home of Mr and Mrs W B Dunton on Friday at 2 p.m. were conducted by Rev J H Freedline and Rev E W F Holler of the Presbyterian Church.
