Description	:	A former Lennox resident for many years, Mrs. Alice C. Buse passed away at the Sioux Falls Care Center on Monday morning, Aug. 4, 1980, following an illness of four years duration. She attained the age of 69 years, five months and eight days. Mrs. Buse, (nee Alice Celesta Stone) was born at Ida Grove, IA on Feb. 26, 1911, the daughter of Henry and Dolly Stone. She moved to the Sioux Falls area with here parents where she attended public school and grew to womanhood. Buse passed away at the Sioux Falls Care Center on Monday morning, Aug. 4, 1980, following an illness of four years duration. She attained the age of 69 years, five months and eight days. Mrs. Buse, (nee Alice Celesta Stone) was born at Ida Grove, IA on Feb. 26, 1911, the daughter of Henry and Dolly Stone. She moved to the Sioux Falls area with here parents where she attended public school and grew to womanhood. On Mar. 8, 1938 she was united in marriage to Henry Wickert Buse at Germantown Presbyterian church and for 25 years they farmed near Lennox. They retired from the farm in 1957 and took up their residence in Lennox. Her husband passed away on Nov. 5, 1963. She moved to Sioux Falls in 1965 where she had since made her home with her daughter, Joyce. She had been employed as a nurse's aid at the Lennox Good Samaritan Center in Lennox for seven years and after moving to Sioux Falls she wa a nurse's aid at Sioux Valley hospital, retiring in 1971. She was a member of First Reformed church of Sioux Falls. Besides her parents and husband,she was preceded in death by two sisters, one brother and two granddaughters. Deceased is survived by her son, Donald Buse, of Sioux Falls; four daughters, Mrs Robert (Dorothy) Kruger, Mrs. Fran (Ann) Backer and Mrs. James R. (Joyce) Murphy, all of Sioux Falls, Mrs. Everett (Nancy) Leslie of Pringle, SD; 17 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, Harry Stone of Halsey, OR., and Vaun Stone of Aurora; two sisters, Mrs. May Hanks of Watertown and Mrs. Vern (Wilma) Tough of Sioux Falls.
