Description	:	EAST WENATCHEE _ Alice W. Loepp, 85, of East Wenatchee and a longtime Red Cross volunteer, died Wednesday, May 5, 1993, in the Highline Convalescent Center, following an extended illness. She was born Nov. 10, 1907, to Van D. and Linnie (Shawver) Jones at Kirkville, Iowa. She moved at an early age with her family to Okanogan where she received her education. Loepp, 85, of East Wenatchee and a longtime Red Cross volunteer, died Wednesday, May 5, 1993, in the Highline Convalescent Center, following an extended illness. She was born Nov. 10, 1907, to Van D. and Linnie (Shawver) Jones at Kirkville, Iowa. She moved at an early age with her family to Okanogan where she received her education. She graduated from Okanogan High School in 1927, then attended the Deaconess School of Nursing in Wenatchee for two years. She married Walter W. Loepp on March 23, 1929, at Wenatchee. They lived at East Wenatchee where they owned and operated the Big K Orchard Company. She joined the Eagles Auxiliary No. 204 in 1932, and held many local and state offices, serving as president from June of 1943 to June of 1944, and Chelan County chairman for War Bonds sales. Mrs. Loepp was one of the first state Auxiliary ritual judges at the first state ritual competition and served as judge for 17 years. She also served as state ritual chairman for four years, District No. 1 deputy for one year and was honored as ``Mother of the Year'' for the Eagles in 1984-85. Last year, the Eagles Auxiliary presented her with a 60-year membership pin. Mrs. Loepp was an active volunteer with the American Red Cross and assisted with blood drawings for more than 20 years. She is survived by a son, Jack Loepp of East Wenatchee. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1976, four brothers and four sisters. Arrangements are by Telford's Chapel of the Valley, East Wenatchee.
