Description	:	Mrs. Melvin Wilson, 53, died Sunday evening in her rural home near here after an illness since March. She was hospitalized until June 19, when she was returned home. The body will be moved from Shadduck funeral home, Clinton, this afternoon to the family home at Miles. Funeral services will be held Wednesday with prayer services at 1:30 p.m. at the home and at 2 p.m. in Miles Presbyterian church, with the Rev. Elmer Whyte officiating. Burial will be in Miles Cemetery. Mrs. Wilson was born Alieda K. Biff July 24, 1896 near Miles, the daughter of Henry and Christina Soll Biff. She was educated in the Miles schools and was married Aug. 21, 1918 to Melvin Wilson. The couple farmed near Bryant until 1923 when they moved to the farm near Miles. She was a member of the Presbyterian church, the Miles chapter, 543, O. E. S., and Miles Rebekah lodge, 204. Surviving are her husband, three sons, Bruce of Andover, Stuart W. and Rodney M. wilson, both at home; her mother, an uncle and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father.
