| Description | : | Allan Charles Jones was born June 24, 1894 in Ashland, WI, the third child and second son of Seth and Martha Pearce Jones. His father founded the town of Winnetoon, NE. They moved back to Ashland for a short period and then returned to Winnetoon, where they raised their family. Allan married Olga Christine Jensen of Winnetoon. They farmed northeast of Winnetoon until moving with sons, Jack and Seth to the Sandhills and settling on the MacNamara Ranch south of Long Pine in 1926.
