Allen Hinson, living near Oneonta, met with an accident last Wednesday which resulted in his death Friday. Mr. Hinson, with his father, Elbert Hinson, were topping trees, when the accident happened. Allen was in one tree when a limb from another tree that Elbert was working in, knocked him from his hold. He fell across the edge of the wagon box striking across his bowels. He was taken to Concordia hospital for medical attention, and it was found that an intestine was ruptured and death resulted Friday. Mr. Hinson was unmarried and lived with his father. He was forty years old. He was a member of the I.O.O.F. of Concordia. Surviving Mr. Hinson, are his father, Elbert Hinson; grandmother, Mrs. M.F. Craft; three brothers, Clarence of Concordia, Charles and Elbert; and five sisters, Mrs. Glen Jones of Concordia, Mrs. Herbert Nelson, of Jamestown, Mrs. Eugene Ellison, Hiawatha, Miss Mary Hinson of Topeka, and Miss Julia of the home. Funeral services were held at the Fairview church Sunday afternoon and burial was made in the Fairview cemetery. The Odd Fellows had charge of the services at the grave.
