Funeral services for Mr. Allen G. Lewing Jr., 61, were held Thursday, April 26, at 4 p.m., at Florien First Baptist Church. Interment followed in the Florien Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Rev. Mack Brister, and Rev. Gil Arthur officiated.

Mr. Lewing died Tuesday, April 24, at Baynes Jones Hospital in Fort Polk.

He is survived by his wife, Nira Lewing; one son, Cory Lewing; three daughters, Glinda Aklin, Linda Remedies, Cindy Wright; two sisters, Marie Tynes, and Sue Bailey; ten
