Description	:	Allen N. Loving, Jr., age 69, of Mechanicsville, Va., went to meet Jesus on May 21, 2019. He was preceded in death by his father, Allen N. Loving and his sister, Brenda Eubank. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Martha T. Loving; his daughter, Ashley N. Waller (Matt); and his son, Mac T. Loving (Kimberlie); his granddaughter, Melayna Faith Loving; Katelyn Nicole Kocsis, who was like a granddaughter to him; his mother, Phyllis Loving; and his sister, Sandy L. Balducci (Ricky). He was preceded in death by his father, Allen N. Loving and his sister, Brenda Eubank. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Martha T. Loving; his daughter, Ashley N. Waller (Matt); and his son, Mac T. Loving (Kimberlie); his granddaughter, Melayna Faith Loving; Katelyn Nicole Kocsis, who was like a granddaughter to him; his mother, Phyllis Loving; and his sister, Sandy L. Balducci (Ricky). Allen retired from Swisher International after 27 years of service, and he worked for Food Town for 21 years. He was a member of Fairmount Christian Church. Allen was a much beloved son, brother, husband, father and Poppie to his family. In his last days in the hospital, he described his family as "my world." Mac, his son, always called him "Root." Just as the root is the lifeline for a plant, so was Allen for his family. To all who knew him, he was a kind and gentle man. Even though he was a man of few words, people were drawn to him. He was humble and preferred the simple things in life. He loved to fish. He loved NASCAR (Dale Earnhardt), loved yard work and gardening, and always kept a beautifully well-maintained yard. This loving (Loving) family will never be the same without him. He left so much of himself within all of us that we will always feel surrounded and encouraged by his love and calming disposition. And, as he often reminded us, "Dont panic; the main thing is not to get excited." Friends and family are invited to a celebration of his life on Thursday, May 30, 2019 at Fairmount Christian Church at 3:00 p.m. Visitation will precede the service from 1:30-3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Fairmount Christian Church, P. O. Box 788, Mechanicsville, VA 23111.
