Cutter, 91, of Lonaconing died Saturday, March 15, 2008, in the Frostburg Village Nursing Home, Frostburg. Born Nov. 17, 1916, in Lonaconing he was the son of the late Walter Cutter and Hannah (Russell) Cutter He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Louise Cutter, on April 18, 2004; a son-in-law, Paul Fazenbaker, and one sister, Lena Spiker. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Lonaconing, the Rising Sun Lodge 86 Knights of Pythias, Lonaconing, were he was Past Chancellor Commander, and a Past President of the Senior Citizens of Lonaconing and Barton. He was retired from the Celanese Fibers Corp., Cumberland, in the spinning department and was a coal miner. He attended Rockville and Central School, Lonaconing He is survived by one son, Richard A. Cutter and wife Linda, of Midland; two daughters, Peggy Ann Fazenbaker, of Lonaconing, and June Preston and husband Robert, of Barton; seven grandchildren, John P. Fazenbaker, of Lonaconing, Alicia L. Moses and husband Brian, of Lonaconing, Connie Marple and husband Todd, of Prince Frederick, Robbie Preston and wife Diana, of Barton, Cindy Clark and husband Dan, of Barton, David Cutter, of Oakland, and Cami Cutter, of Hagerstown; nine great-grandchildren, Heidi Raduano and husband Tony, of Dundalk, Joshua and wife Heather, of Oldtown, Jared and Charity Preston, of Barton, Caitlin and Dakota Clark, of Barton, Chris Fazenbaker, Adam Fazenbaker, and Travis Moses, of Lonaconing; one sister, Thelma Davis, of Frostburg; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his beloved dog, Buddy. Family and friends will be received at the Eichhorn-McKenzie Funeral Home P.A. (eichhorn-mckenziefh.com), Lonaconing on Tuesday, March 18, 2008, from 6 to 9 p.m. The Knights of Pythias will hold a memorial service Tuesday at 6 p.m. in the funeral home. A funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home on Wednesday, March 19, 2008, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Todd Marple officiating. Interment will be held in Sunset Memorial Park, Cumberland. Pallbearers will be grandsons. The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of memorial contributions to the Georges Creek Ambulance Service, P.O. Box 155, Lonaconing, MD, 21539. Memorial folders are available at the funeral home.
