Description	:	Rites Held For Dewey Robinson, 78 Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 p.m. for A.V. (Dewey) Robinson, 78, at the Congregational United Church of Christ. Dr. Kenneth Miller officiated. Mrs. Raymond Lantz played organ selections. Casket bearers were Arthur Duff, Boyd Falconer, Russel Morgan, Al Sullivan, Joe Zanders and harry Brown. Interment was in Anita Evergreen Cemetery. Mullen Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Masonic rituals were conducted at the church and Military rites were conducted at graveside. Mr. Robinson, was born in the Lincoln township vicinity south of Anita, Apr. 27, 1899, the son of Charles D. and Jenny Irving Robinson, and passed away Sunday evening, Feb. 26, ????? where he had been a patient several days. He had been in ill health for some time. Dewey attended the Lincoln Township school, later he attended mechanics trade school in Kansas City. He was united in marriage to Zela bills on June 28, 1922 at Omaha. They framed for six years, moving to Anita and was employed at Dement Implement as a mechanic for many years. He retired several years ago due to ill health. He served in the U.S. Army during World War 11, was a member of the Masonic Lodge and American Legion. He is survived by his wife, Zela; a son, Charles A. of Petersburg, Ind.; two grandsons, James Allen and Thomas Charles Robinson; a brother, Charles D. Robinson of Lake Isabell, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Herbert (Gertrude) Bartley of Atlantic and Mrs. Cecil (Nancy June) Scholl of Anita, also nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Beryl and an infant brother Carl. --- Anita Tribune March 2, 1978
