She was born to Earl and Annie Jones Taylor in Foreman, Arkansas, on May 30, 1921. She was a member of the Lockesburg Methodist Church, and also attended Milford Church, and loved singing gospel songs. She was a homemaker, and enjoyed yard work and spending time with her family. Read More	Double/Luther∼ Alma Angeline Taylor Pickens Pool, age 93, a resident of Lockesburg, died Sunday, October 19, 2014 at her home. She was born to Earl and Annie Jones Taylor in Foreman, Arkansas, on May 30, 1921. She was a member of the Lockesburg Methodist Church, and also attended Milford Church, and loved singing gospel songs. She was a homemaker, and enjoyed yard work and spending time with her family. She loved being part of the De Queen Hospital Auxiliary and singing with the group. Mrs. Pool was preceded in death by her father and mother, Earl and Annie Taylor, her husbands, Luther Pickens, and Raymond Pool, a grandson, Grant Todd, her twin brother, Elmer, her brothers, Earvin and Arnold, and sisters, Verdie Lucille, Pearl and Beulah. She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Wanda Hladik of Lockesburg, Patricia and Terry Todd of Lockesburg, a grandson, Kerry Todd of Lockesburg, four step-grandchildren, Billy and his wife, Angie, Ladonna and her husband, Chris, Robert and his wife, Candi, and Dwayne all of Oklahoma, two great-grandchildren, Austin and Tanner of Dallas, Texas, one great-great-grandchild, Tatum, twelve step great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of other family and friends. She is also survived by one sister, Eula LaGrone of Orange, Texas, one brother-in-law, Frank Enoch of New Smyrna Beach, Florida. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, October 23rd at 2:00 P.M., in the First United Methodist Church of Lockesburg, with Rev. Terry Chapman and Rev. Tommy Halsell officiating. Burial will follow in the Lockesburg Cemetery, Lockesburg, Ark.
