Description	:	Mrs. Alma Forguson, 46-year-old resident of Fortuna, died Saturday morning in a Eureka hospital following a lingering illness. She was born May 4, 1914, in Alta, Wyo., and moved to California in 1925. She had been a resident of Fortuna since 1952. Until her health failed, she had been employed for a number of years in nursing home work. She was a member of the Fortuna Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Surviving include her husband, George Forguson of Live Oak; children, Roger Thomas Forguson of Chicago, Mrs. Louanna Johnson, Loleta, Mrs. Vida Davis, Sacramento, Mrs. Janice Dunbar, Fortuna, Mrs. Audrey Mell, Ferndale, and Gary Clinton Forguson, Live Oak; her mother, Mrs. Malissa Clement, Fortuna, sisters, Mrs. Thelma Hill, Rohnerville; Mrs. Alta Hunt, Redwood City, Mrs. Vida Allen, Fortuna, Mrs. Esta Brewster, Orland, Mrs. Malissa George, Oroville, and Mrs. Myrle Hockenberger, Oroville; brothers, Merlin Clement, Fortuna, and Eldon J. Clement, Redwood City. Five grandchildren and numerous other relatives also survive. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Goble's Fortuna Mortuary with the Elders Vernal Meheker, Weston Hodges and Murwin Bradfield officiating. Interment will follow in the Rohnerville Masonic Cemetery.
