Marcus Delfs is also buried here in Bethlehem Cemetery and died in 1935. -- Mrs. Anton (Alma) Smith, McHenry, died Sunday in a Fargo hospital where she had been a patient for 10 days. She had been in failing health for several years. Funeral services were scheduled at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, McHenry, Tuesday, Rev. A. O. Borlaug and Rev. A. Turmo of New Rockford officiating. Mrs. Edmund Pewe was the organist and singers were Mmes. Sherman Lillethun, Louie Pewe, Sherman Ellingson and Alfred Anderson. Burial was in McHenry Cemetery. Casket bearers were Gustav, Carl and Louie Pewe, Richard Vining, R. D. Short and John Aarestad. Knott Funeral Home, Carrington, had charge of arrangements. The former Alma Delfs, she was born April 5, 1903, and was married November 3, 11928, at Carrington. She had lived her entire life in this area. She was a member of Our Savior's Church and its women's societies. She leaves her husband and one son, Stanley, both McHenry; three daughters, Mrs. Bruce (Helen) Alfstad and Mrs. Lloyd (Marian) Jenson, both Grace City, and Mrs. Rolland (Irene) Payne, Livingston, Mont. There are four sisters and three brothers, Mrs. Loretta Madsoe, Mrs. Rchard McDaniel, Herman and Julius Delfs, all McHenry; Mabel Delfs, Eugene, Ore.; Mrs. Orel Bjorlie, Pekin, N.D.; and Marcus, Binford, N.
