Description	:	Alma Florence, daughter of William and Anna Beck was born in Osage, Neosha County, Kansas , March 15, 1860, and passed away March 17, 1926, aged 66 years and two days. She came with her parents to DeSoto, Iowa in 1868 and has lived in or near there all her life, until seven years ago, when she moved to Minneapolis where she made her home until death. Read More	Alma Florence, daughter of William and Anna Beck was born in Osage, Neosha County, Kansas , March 15, 1860, and passed away March 17, 1926, aged 66 years and two days. She came with her parents to DeSoto, Iowa in 1868 and has lived in or near there all her life, until seven years ago, when she moved to Minneapolis where she made her home until death. She united with the Christian Church at the age of 14 years and has continued a faithful member ever since. She was united in marriage, December 15, 1881, to William T. Scarborough. To this union were born six children, three sons and three daughters. The oldest son, Earl C. Scarborough, Mrs. James Thornton, Millard W. Scarborough, Mrs. Henry Wishmire, and their father, William Scarborough all reside in Minneapolis. One son, Walter W. Scarborough, living at Morton , Minn , and one daughter, Mrs. Jessie Bohlander at DeSoto. All the children and husband were present for the funeral except the one son, Walter who could not attend on account of sickness in his family, all of whom with husband, survive her to mourn, the loss of a loving wife and mother. She also leaves two brothers, two sisters, eleven grandchildren and a host of loving friends. she has been in fairly good health until some three weeks ago when she was taken suddenly ill and was removed from her home to the Eitle hospital where she remained until death.
