Description	:	Alma Folkerts was born April 29, 1919 on the family farm south of Milltown to Henry and Ann (Voege) Gehring. She grew up on the farm and attended country grade school. On September 8, 1940 she married Richard Folkerts. They resided in Emery their entire life. She is survived by her two children: Garold Folkerts, Sioux Falls; Joan (Mark) Davis, Arvada, CO; four grandchildren: Jack Davis, Sarah Weaver, Jody Gilbertson and Molly Buie and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard, three brothers: Louis, Herbert, Bill and two sisters: Helen Grajkowske and Louise Turner.
