Description	:	Alma Loretta Steen, 62, of 315 10th Street, formerly of Lockhart, widow of Charles Steen, died Monday, July 6, 1998, in the Upstate Carolina Medical Center after a brief illness. A native of Lockhart, she was the daughter of the late Lee McSwain Sr. and Maude Vanderford McSwain. She was a former member of the Lockhart Freewill Baptist Church and was a retired Nurses' Aide at the Peachtree Centre in Gaffney. Survivors include one daughter, Debbie S. Joye of Mathews, N.C.; two sisters, Helen M. Childers of Union and Juanita M. Sink of Newberry; three brothers, Arvell McSwain, Otis McSwain... Services will be held at 11 A.M. Thursday at the Lockhart Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill H. Vanderford officiating. Burial will be in the Union Memorial Gardens. The body will be placed in the church at 10 A.M. Pallbearers will be Randy Crocker, Ronnie Swanger, Tommy Childers, Brian McSwain, Bill McSwain and Bobby Steen. The family will receive friends tonight from 6:30 to 8;30 P.M. at the Holcombe Funeral Home. Holcombe Funeral Home of Union is in charge of the arrangements.
