Mrs. Burry was the former Alma Brundage. Her parents were Mr. and Mrs. George W. Brundage. She was born southwest of Cairo, April 9, 1884. She and Frank Burry were married Jan. 3, 1903, and observed their 59th wedding anniversary this years. They lived in the Cairo and Dannebrog vicinities all of their lives. The couple operated a store in Cairo from 1935 to 1939 and then returned to the farm. They retired and moved back to town in 1952. She was a member of the Cairo Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband; three sons, Roy of St. Paul and Harvey and Dallas, both of Cairo; five grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; a twin sister and another sister, and three brothers.
