Description	:	Funeral services for Mrs Alma M. Geer, 73, of New Market will be at 11 am, Saturday at Walker-Merrick Funeral Home with Rev Alfred Hunter officiating. Mrs Geer died Wednesday morning at Rosary Hospital in Corning where she had been a patient over two weeks. She was born April 9, 1907, in Page County, the daughter of Charles and Carrie E. Mrs Geer died Wednesday morning at Rosary Hospital in Corning where she had been a patient over two weeks. She was born April 9, 1907, in Page County, the daughter of Charles and Carrie E. Thompson Dow. She was married to Edward Geer in 1926. Mr Geer preceded her in death on Oct 30, 1975. Mrs Geer had worked at nursing homes prior to her retirement. She is survived by two daughters: Mrs Dean [Evelyn] Hixson, Englewood, Co, and Mrs Earl [Irene] Lewis of New Market. There are eight grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Stanley Dow of Clearmont, Mo, is a brother and Gladys Hiles of St Joseph, Mo, is a sister. She was preceded in death by her husband, a daughter Louise Lawger, sisters Martha Beals, Vera Harper, and Marjorie Livengood, and brothers John, Sanford, Ben and Jim Dow.
