Burial was in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery in Latimer. Alma Marie Dohrmann was born on April 12, 1900 to Henry and Mary (Bergmann) Dohrmann on a farm near Latimer. She was raised and educated in the area of her birth. Alma was baptized and confirmed at the Marion Center Church. She was united in marriage with Fred W. Pralle on May 4, 1922 at the Marion Center Church. They farmed east of Latimer until 1949 when they built their home in Latimer. Fred preceded her in death on May 5, 1968. Alma has lived in Ankeny the last two years. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Latimer and was a charter member of the Ladies Mission Society. Alma is survived by her two daughters: Lavonne Stokke and her husband, Don of Ankeny and Dolores Pralle of Ankeny; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Fred W.; her son, Harold; three grandsons; one great granddaughter and three sisters, Ella Kragel, Linda Pralle and Louise Hoyer.
