Read More	Alma was the daughter of Dillman Oberholser and Harriet Wright. She married John Krick on 8 SEP 1880 in Masquoketa, Jackson Co., Iowa. They were the parents of Ward, Iva, and John. Ida County Pioneer Record - Thursday, August 11th, 1932 - Ida Grove and vicinity mourns the loss of a beloved woman, Mrs. Alma Krick. who passed away Tuesday morning, Aug. 9 after a severe illness of about six weeks duration. She had been in failing health for some time, but her condition was not considered serious until July 1. Patiently suffering, cheerful and happy, she was ready and willing to go when she found that she would be called upon to leave this world for the Great Beyond and her only regret was that she must leave her aged mother who is 92 years old and has made her home with her daughter for the past 10 years. Mrs. Krick was the kindest of neighbors and a wonderful friend to all who knew her. Quiet and home loving, she found time and opportunity to help those in need and it is said of her that she refused to speak ill of any one. She faced life with a smile at all times. Alma Oberholser Krick was brn in Clinton county, Iowa, Feb. 19, 1868 and died Aug. 9, 1932 aged 70 years, 5 months and 21 days. She spent her childhood and young womanhood in Clinton county-and at the age of 19 she was married to John P. Krick, the young couple settling on a farm near DeWitt, la. which was their home for two years coming to Ida Grove to make their home. Mr. and Mrs. Krick were the parents of three children, Ward W. Krick of Logan township, Mrs. Iva Wilkinson of this city and John D. Krick who died April 19 of this year. The husband and father, John P. Krick died at Rochester, Minn., Jan. 6, 1931. Mrs. Krick is survived by her mother, Mrs. Harriet Gearhart, her two children, two brothers, one sister and six young people, children of Ward W. Krick and Mrs. Iva Wilkinson who are grief stricken over the loss of the kindest of grandmothers. A host of friends saddened by her passing sympathize with the family in its sorrow. Funeral services, will be held at the Church of God Thursday afternoon, August 11 at 2 o’clock with Rev. R. Jinkerson in charge. The pallbearers will be nephews of the deceased, Irvin Krick, A.F. Krick, W.L. Krick, Art Krick, J.R. Krick and Ed Shirk, all of whom performed the same service for the late John D. Krick.
