Read More	WATFORD GUIDE ADVOCATE 26 FEBRUARY 1994 ALMA PEARL CORISTINE Alma Pearl Coristine passed away at her home in Warwick Village on Wednesday 23 February 1994 in her 98th year. Born October 1896, she was the fourth of five children, the daughter of Henry and Margaret (Moffit) Williamson. Her sisters and brothers were Mamie Morgan, Myrtle Kersey and Kinney and Basil Williamson, all of whom predeceased. A beloved step-mother and a half sister, Rheta died many years ago. Her husband, Willard Coristine died 29 June 1961. She is survived by her son Bill and two sisters-in-law, Gladys and Lily Williamson and many cousins, nieces and nephews from the Moffit, Williamson and Coristine branches of the family. For a number of years, she was foster mother to about 25 children in all, and among those she held most dear to her heart are Phyllis Thrower, Anna German, Helen Smith, Margaret Woodcosk and Carolyn Horley, the beloved daughters she never had of her own. The funeral service was held on Friday afternoon, 25th February from the Harper Funeral Home, Watford with Rev. Canon Gordon Houghton reading the Order for the Burial of the Dead from the Old Anglican Prayer Book. Pallbearers were Wayne Lightfoot, Bruce Fisher, Bruce Morgan, Bert Williamson, Douglas Thrower and Gary Muxlow. Honary Pallbearers (from a request list made out a number of years ago) were Ivan Morgan, Walter Thrower, Mac Fisher, Mervyn Williamson, Keith Williamson and a final appointee, Will Muxlow who predeceased Mrs. Coristine. Burial was in Mount Carmel Cemetery, Brooke Twp.
