Greatly loved by her 33 grandchildren and 50 great-grandchildren. Fondly remembered by her 7 step-grandchildren, 24 great-step-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-step-grandchildren. Special sister-in-law and best friend of Mary Prins. Alma had a deep faith in God that carried her through all the sorrows and joys of her 96 years. She enjoyed baking banana cupcakes with maple icing for any and every occasion, playing Scrabble with anyone who was brave enough to take her on, having dinner each evening with Leah and Jonah, and spending time with all those who were special to her. We like to remember Mom sitting in her favourite spot on the couch killing those crosswords with Aunt Mary. A special thank you to the staff of Afton Park Place for their genuine care of our mom. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, October 28, 2015, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., at the Sarnia Gospel Hall, 1791 London Line, Sarnia, Ontario. A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 29, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at the Sarnia Gospel Hall. Interment followed in Blackwell Cemetery.
