Two children are deceased. He was a member of St. Joseph's Church, Wapakoneta, the Holy Name Society, the Knights of Columbus, the VFW, the Disabled Veterans. During World War I he was a private. He was with the Overseas Combat and Army of Occupation. He was active in farming most of his life and retired 10 years ago. Solemn Requiem High Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Joseph Church, Wapakoneta, with Rev. David Heinl, as celebrant. Rev. Herbert Eilerman will be the deacon, and Rev. Richard Woytych will be the sub-deacon. It will be a military funeral. Friends may call at the Heinl and Son Funeral Home, Wapakoneta, from 3 p.m. Saturday until time of services.
