Mr. Berger was formerly a Columbus resident, but recently moved to Bellwood. He leaves a wife, three daughters and four sons. He was seventy-nine years old. Mr. Alois Berger, whose illness was announced in last week's Gazette, died Friday evening last at about 11 p.m. He was born in Austria June 15, 1833. He came to America 32 years ago. A wife and six children survive him, all of whom visited him during his recent illness. For about three years previous to his death his health has been failing him; but did not until about the 2nd of the present month did his relatives become alarmed about him. Funeral was held Monday morning in St. Peter's Catholic church, conducted by Rev. H. J. Lutz, the pastor. The attendance was very large. Deceased was a man who was loved by a large circle of neighbors and friends.
