| Description | : | Aloysius Elder was the youngest of William & Jacoba Clementina Elders children. He lived his entire life on the Elder Homestead. He married Elizabeth Mills, daughter of Justinian Mills and Mary Dant of St. Mary's County. They had 9 children; Nancy, Joachim, Jessie, Mary, Elizabeth, Sophia,Clotilda, Lewis and Justinian Elder. On the death of Elizabeth he married Mary Josephine Green, daughter of Philip Green and Ann Yates. They had 5 children; Ann, Sophia Ann, William Pius, Mary Phillipi and Ann Rosetta Elder.
