Description	:	Alson Harvey Lamm, 74, Prescott, Arizona, was found dead in his room at the Hotel Harlan in Mt. Pleasant about 11 a.m. Friday (December 27, 1957). He was a former Henry County resident. Mr. Lamm arrived here by bus from Peoria, Illinois, Thursday afternoon. After visiting relatives here he retired to his hotel room. He came to Peoria with his daughter Mrs. Dale Maust and her husband of Oakland, California, to visit relatives. He then took the bus here. Alson Harvey Lamm, the son of Albert and Martha (Frazer) Lamm, was born near Denova, south of Oakland Mills, on November 27, 1883. On August 7, 1902, he married Mary Belle Elliott, who died on May 24, 1948. Surviving are seven sons, Rex, Delbert, Harold, and Ralph, all of Mt. Pleasant; Robert of Prescott, Arizona; Walter of Fairfield; and George of Peoria, Illinois; two daughters, Mrs. Maurice Wilson of Peoria, Illinois; and Mrs. Dale Maust of Oakland, California. He was also survived by two sisters, Iola Lamm of Mt. Pleasant (Mr. Lamm’s twin) and Lecta Hallowell of Salem.
