Description	:	Daughter of Charles Edward and Ida Florence (Postma) Ice was born Jan 6 1913 and passed away March 26, 1937 at the age of 24 years 2 months and 20 days. She had been an invalid since birth. At first she had partial control over her lower limbs and was able to get around some but soon lost all control and has been confined to her bed or wheelchair practically all her life. She never went to school but her parents and brother and sister taught her at home. She bore her affliction bravely, was always cheerful and pleasant.... At first she had partial control over her lower limbs and was able to get around some but soon lost all control and has been confined to her bed or wheelchair practically all her life. She never went to school but her parents and brother and sister taught her at home. She bore her affliction bravely, was always cheerful and pleasant. She occupied much of her time doing beautiful fancy work. Last fall her health began to fail because of heart trouble and she had not been able to be out of the house since September. Pneumonia developed recently and her weakened system was not able to throw the attack off. Besides her father and mother she is survived by one brother Virgil Ice and a sister Mrs Etta Hanes Funeral services were held Sunday March 28, at 2 pm in the Church of Christ and burial was in the Waverly cemetery.
