She was born in Springfield, Ill. on July 4, 1930, to Alta and Lydia Allen Constant. She married Everett Bennett at Monticello on Jan. 17, 1970. He died on Jan. 15, 2000. In her young years, she lived in the Idaville community. She worked at White's Five Cents to $1 Store in Monticello for several years. She was a member of the Idaville Church of God. Survivors include sisters Genrose Yocum of Logansport, Mary Allen of Monticello and Viola Snellen of Sheperdsville, Ky.; and several nieces and nephews. Infant twin sisters and four other sisters are deceased. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Miller-Roscka Funeral Home. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Alvin Rockey officiating. Burial will be at Riverview I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.
