Funeral services will be held 11:00 Monday morning, January 27, 2003 at the Monticello Baptist Church with interment in the Wyoming Cemetery. Rev. Daniel French will officiate at the services. He was preceded in death by his Parents, and a granddaughter, Christy Tredway. Alvin Dudley Tredway was born November 7, 1934 at Estherville, Iowa. He was the son of Moody and Elizabeth Meyers, Tredway. Dudley received his education in the Superior, Olin, Norway, Monticello and Onslow schools. He then started his life's work of farming. Dudley married Donna Bonney on November 11, 1953 at Monmouth, Iowa. The couple farmed in the Onslow, Scotch Grove area. He retired from active farming in 1996. Dudley then started mowing ditches for Jones County. In earlier years he had a can Milk Route for the Buck Horn Creamery and had also driven a school bus for the Onslow Schools and later for the Midland Schools. A memorial fund has been established.
