Mr. Heimbigner was born on October 8, 1916 in Packard, Washington, the son of Henry and Martha Heimbigner. He was raised in Dryden and attended the Dryden school. Heimbigner, of North Bend, died on Saturday, December 27, 2003 in North Bend. He was 87 years of age. Mr. Heimbigner was born on October 8, 1916 in Packard, Washington, the son of Henry and Martha Heimbigner. He was raised in Dryden and attended the Dryden school. He married Marjorie Dronen on April 3, 1938 in Cashmere. Mr. Heimbigner was an orchardist in Dryden until 1957 when he moved to Bellevue. He became an owner/operator of several Eastside area service stations. He was a member of the Snoqualmie United Methodist Church. The family moved to North Bend in 1976. In his youth, Mr. Heimbigner played both baseball and basketball. Later he became a fan of college and high school sports. He was a lifelong fisherman, favoring salmon fishing in later years. Mr. Heimbigner took pride in his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Marjorie in 1997. Survivors include four daughters Connie Jo Torina, of Phoenix area, Carolyn Lee Lloyd, of Kirkland, Cynthia Ann Stanford, of North Bend and Cherry Dee Jelmberg, of Las Vegas, Nevada; two sons Cameron Eugene "Corky" Heimbigner and Corwin Terry "Skip" Heimbigner, both of Sammamish; two sisters, Margaret Gilliam, of Tucson, Arizona and Anna Benzel, of Gates, Mill, Ohio; 18 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Friday, January 2, 2004 at 11:30AM at the Snoqualmie United Methodist Church, River St. and Railroad Avenue S, Snoqualmie. A family graveside service will be held at Hillside Cemetery in Issaquah.
