FINAL RITES FOR LOCAL MAN PLANNED ON TUESDAY. Mr. Alvin J. Shea, a resident of Iowa City all of his life, passed away suddenly at his home, 606 East Church street, at 6:30 o'clock Sunday morning. Dr. George Maresh, coroner, said that the primary cause of death was a heart lesion. Alvin John Shea was born in Iowa City, living here his entire life. He was associated with his father in the Log Cabin Gasoline service station near Coralville. Surviving him are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Shea, 606 East Church street, one brother, Robert, and one sister, Gertrude, both at home. Funeral services will be held at 8:30 on Tuesday morning at St. Wenceslaus church. Burial will be in St. Joseph's cemetery. The remains will be at the home until the time of the services.
