Read More	ALBERTA DEATH REGISTER Name: Alvin Pale Death Date: 27 May 1933 Death Place: Claresholm, Alberta, Canada Registration Number: 403-097 === THE CLARESHOLM LOCAL PRESS Claresholm Alberta Friday June 2 1933 INJURIES FATAL TO 13 YEAR OLD BOY Stepping sideways into an open trap door going into the cellar of his uncle's house two weeks previously, Alvin Pole, the 13 year-old son of Mr and Mrs Albert Pole of the Green Bank district, died in the Claresholm Hospital last Saturday, May 27th, as a result of internal injuries he received as a result of the fall. Vital injuries were sustained in the abdominal regions and in the chest. Surgical treatment was rendered a week ago Sunday and the boy was apparently making progress, until pneumonia complications set in last week and death came on Saturday. Alvin was born April 30 1920 and is survived by his parents and one brother and one sister. He was a pupil of the Green Bank School and the school was closed the day of the funeral, Miss Petersen, the teacher and the pupils attending the services in a body. Funeral services were held in St John's Church of England Monday afternoon, Rev Canon Merrick conducting the services, assisted by Rev E.H. Osborne of the Church of the Nazarene at the graveside. The pallbearers were: Percy Marsh, Roy Dahlen, M McKay, Wm Bagnall, Leslie Bush and Bernard Wilcox, all cousins of the deceased. George W Ringrose had charge of funeral arrangements and burial was made in the Claresholm Cemetery.
