Description	:	Alvin Richard Ream, aged 28 years, of Crellin, a son of the late Charles and Ida M. Ream, died in Memorial Hospital, Cumberland, last Thursday afternoon, December 28, 1939, where he had been a patient since the previous Saturday. Ream, died in Memorial Hospital, Cumberland, last Thursday afternoon, December 28, 1939, where he had been a patient since the previous Saturday. He had been in ill health for several months, or since the death of his father on August 8, of jaundice. He was born November 5, 1911. The deceased was a graduate of Oakland high school, 1928, and Potomac State College, 1930 and received his B.S. degree from West Virginia University, Morgantown, in 1933. He was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon social fraternity and was president of the organization while in the University. He was a member of the United Brethern Church at Crellin and also a member of the Woodmen of the World, Crellin camp. Mr. Ream was married in 1934 to Miss Pauline Stinebaugh, of Morgantown. The deceased was in charge of Table Rock Inn, owned by his late father, in 1934 and 1935, and was after those years employed in the store of the Stanley Supply Company at Crellin. Surviving are his widow, two brothers and a sister: Harold E. Ream and Erval W. Ream, of Crellin, and Mrs. H. B. Mussard, of Oakland; also both his maternal and paternal grandfathers, Andrew J. Lee and Richard Ream, of Mountain Lake Park. His father, who was president of the Garrett National Bank in Oakland, and also president of the Stanley Coal Company, died in August of last year at the age of 56 years. Funeral services were conducted on Sunday aternoon a two o'clock from the Crellin Church, with the Rev. F. L. Fultz, of Mannington, West Va., who was a former pastor, officiating, assisted by the Rev. E. A. Crites, the present pastor. Interment was made in Oakland cemetery. Rev Fultz was pastor at Crellin when the deceased was confirmed a member of the church. Pallbearers were Robert Ream, Elmus Ream, Harland Biggs, James Moomaw, Gilbert Moomaw, Paul Bennett, Wilber Ridder and Victor Rancinger.
