Description	:	Alvin Thimesch, 86, died November 24, 2020 at Kingman. He was born June 27, 1934, in Reno County, Kansas the son of John and Pauline Lubbers Thimesch. A resident of Kingman most of his life, he formerly worked at Cessna and was the retired co-owner/operator of the Kingman Dairy Queen. Alvin was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus, both of Kingman. On April 14, 1953, he married Patricia Ann “Pat” Neal at Kingman; she died April 6, 2019. He was born June 27, 1934, in Reno County, Kansas the son of John and Pauline Lubbers Thimesch. A resident of Kingman most of his life, he formerly worked at Cessna and was the retired co-owner/operator of the Kingman Dairy Queen. Alvin was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus, both of Kingman. On April 14, 1953, he married Patricia Ann “Pat” Neal at Kingman; she died April 6, 2019. Survivors include sons and their wives Don and Jana, Larry “Burger”, Bob, Tim and Brenda and Tracy and Jessica; daughters Becky Hart and husband Mike and Betty Roberts; brothers Dan, Dave and Ron; sisters Bernice Foote and Joyce Fairchild; 23 grandchildren; and 48 great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by brothers Lawrence, Jim, Wayne and Gerald; and son-in-law Jim Roberts. Parish rosary will be 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2020 at the St. Patrick Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 2, also at the St. Patrick Church. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. to Monday at the Livingston Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Walnut Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be made with the St. Patrick Grade School, Kingman Community Hospital and St. Jude Children’s Hospital all in care of the funeral home.
