Born Alvina Mary Margaret Untereiner, on April 28, 1917, in Dimock, South Dakota, she married Edward Mathew Stricherz on June 7, 1939. Together they had five sons, Stan (Sheila) of Alamo, CA, Tim, Jay (Wendy) of University Place, WA, Guy (Irene) of New York City, NY and Mark (Jolyn) of Spanaway, WA. She is also survived by her grandson Mark, granddaughters Anne, Sarah, Jodi, Amy, Sara, Jackie, Julie, and Matilda; her sister Dorothy and nephew Mike. The family wishes to thank the many friends who visited her, especially her neighbors at the Village on the Green. A special thank you also goes to Franciscan Hospice for their loving care. Visitation will be held on Wed- nesday, June 13th, between 3 PM and 5 PM at Dryer Mortuary in Parkland. A vigil will also be held that evening at 8 PM at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, June 14th, at 2 PM at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 14601 A St. S. (146th and Pacific Ave.), Spanaway, WA. Burial will follow at Fir Lane Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations to Franciscan Hospice would be greatly appreciated.
