Description	:	The death of Mrs. Ailcy Plummer, 68, beloved woman of the Windfall community removes one of the best mothers and good Christian women from the community, whose place will be hard to fill. Mrs. Plummer was born in Henry county being the daughter of William and Mary (Beeson) Leavell, the father dying in one of the battles of the Civil War and the widow and her children removed to this county about the year 1865. Read More	The death of Mrs. Ailcy Plummer, 68, beloved woman of the Windfall community removes one of the best mothers and good Christian women from the community, whose place will be hard to fill. Mrs. Plummer was born in Henry county being the daughter of William and Mary (Beeson) Leavell, the father dying in one of the battles of the Civil War and the widow and her children removed to this county about the year 1865. Here she was united in marriage to the late Alexander Craig, whose death occurred a number of years ago. Mrs. Plummer was united in marriage to the late George M. Plummer in Windfall and two daughters, Mrs. Culver Precsang and Mrs. Lydia Hollingsworth survive. She is also survived by a brother, Scott Leavell at Elwood and a sister, Mrs. Rebecca Conley at South Bend. John Craig of Indianapolis who was here at the time of the death of Mrs. Plummer; Will Craig of Takamah, Neb. and Charles Craig, of Sharon, Pa., are half brothers of Mrs. Plummer. She is also survived by one grandchild and 3 great grandchildren. Many years ago Mrs. Plummer United with the Christian church and was an active worker in that organization all of her life. Her living was a shining example of a true Christian character and her good deeds will live for all time. After the death of her mother, Mrs. Plummer acted as a mother to her younger half brothers and through her efforts they were kept together. Their love for her was that of son for mother and they looked to her for advice. A large number of Tipton persons will attend the funeral services which will be held in the Christian church at Windfall Friday
