Suggested edit: Obituary - Newspaper of 4 March 1892 (c/o my grandmother's research) Mrs. Andrew Martin of Clermont, Iowa, died at the home of her son in law, S. S. Tatro, Sunday, Feb 28, 1892. Mrs. Martin was born in Vermont in 1823 and was married to Andrew Martin in 1841. They moved to Clermont, Iowa in 1850 where they lived until death separated them from this life. She was the recipient of four paralytic strokes, the first six years ago, the second about two years ago, the third last Christmas, and the fourth a few days before her death. Mrs. Martin was one of the first settlers of Clermont. One by one they pass away, and soon will all be gone. She was beloved by all who knew her, and truly can we say we have lost a good neighbor. There are eleven children living out of fifteen, seven of whom followed her to her last resting place. She felt that she was prepared to meet her God, and desired to die long before her time came.
