In 2015, I went back to the cemetery to get a better photo of the gravestone, but acid rain or a corrosive local atmosphere (thanks to strip mining and Fracking) has eaten the stones away and they are in some cases impossible to read. (If it can do it to stone, imagine what it is doing to peoples' lungs.) Alzinia married William Carpenter Feb 8 1849, according to entry in Washington Glass' family Bible. Alzinia had 11 known siblings who are listed here; not all can be listed in the links below, because the dates of their deaths and the location of their graves are presently not known.
