Description	:	Mrs. Amanda Donaldson, 75, 53 Front street, died today at 6:30 a.m. in her home of pneumonia. She was a former resident of Fredonia and came here a few years ago. Born April 3, 1865, near Troy, Miami county, she was the daughter of James and Margaret Harris. In 1897, she was united in marriage to Ira Chilcott and they were the parents of two daughters, Mrs. Frances Fowler and Mrs. Rogers, who survive. Mr. Chilcott died in 1925 and in 1937 she was married to Grant Donaldson, who survives. She also leaves three grandchildren... Mr. Chilcott died in 1925 and in 1937 she was married to Grant Donaldson, who survives. She also leaves three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; one brother, George Harris, of St. Louisville, and two sisters, Mrs. Cynthia Evans of St. Louisville and Mrs. Hannah Oatman of Newark. The deceased was a member of the Fredonia M. E. church. The body will remain at the Householder funeral home and services will be held there Wednesday at 2 p.m., with burial in Fredonia cemetery. Published in the Newark Advocate and American Tribune, Newark, Ohio, Monday, 10 February 1941. No tombstone found in cemetery.
